Could this wonderful life-giving substance be that “silver bullet” for which we have all been searching? I don’t know, and I am still evaluating it. Time will tell. But the theory behind it and the reports are absolutely fascinating, and I would be remiss if I did not tell you about it.

This is about a favorite subject of mine -- health and nutrition. I have long had a special interest in new breakthroughs in healing and health maintenance. My wife, Yolly, has formal training in the subject and studies it intensely.

A few years ago I received an advertisement in the mail for “liquid oxygen,” containing many amazing claims. I was intrigued with the possibility, but the concept was not really explained or well-documented, so I wrote it off as a possible quackery and scam. I forgot about it -- until a few months ago.

That was when I saw a message posted on an Internet Web site from a young medical student, Derrick Leasure, who said:

“I am in school to be a medical doctor. Many of the doctors I know have started to use oxygen to treat diseases and maladies of all sorts. I am not referring to gaseous oxygen, rather, to liquid oxygen. The benefits of using deuterium sulfate as a catalyst to inundate your body with oxygen at the cellular level have been nothing short of startling. It is truly sweeping the medical community across the country.... I URGE you to contact me for details."

The product is not really “liquid oxygen,” but acts that way in that the ingredients cause oxygen to form as Derrick described later:

“Essentially, when you add the deuterium sulfate to water or juice and drink it, the catalyst separates the hydrogen from the oxygen in the H2O (molecule) and saturates your body at the cellular level with oxygen. One thing that is taught in medical school is that bacterium, fungi, virus, and pathogens are anaerobic. This simply means that they cannot live in an oxygen-rich environment. When we get the cells saturated with oxygen, these pathogens must leave our bodies. This results in a startlingly healthy body. This is leading-edge information in the medical community. I hope you will be blessed by it."

This information triggered something in me. It rang true. I excitedly began to investigate more on the Internet. I discovered:

• They know from analyzing air bubbles trapped beneath the Antarctica ice that the oxygen content of air just over 100 years ago was 38-50 percent. Today it has dropped precipitously to only 19-20 percent, and less in the cities. Some believe this has caused the cancer epidemic we are experiencing today. I already knew that scholars believe that pre-Flood people lived to be hundreds of years old because the air was so heavily saturated with oxygen, which diminished greatly over the centuries.
• Twice Nobel Laureate winner Dr. Otto Warburg said, “The primary cause of cancer is the replacement of normal oxygen respiration of body cells by anaerobic (i.e. oxygen-deficient) cell respiration.”
• Everett LaFayette Storey was an inventor who contributed to the technology of the hydrogen bomb. He was also a chemist, microbiologist and author. He was an expert in the little-known uses of deuterium. From deuterium, he created deuterium sulfate, which he claimed was the key to any disease treatment in the world. He created a product that splits the water molecule into nascent hydrogen and nascent oxygen. The released hydrogen becomes an efficient free radical scavenger, while the oxygen nourishes the body, as Derrick mentioned above. In 1985, the U.S. Congress passed in which Storey was recognized for his work. In 1995, legislation changed the classification of his product to a nutritional supplement and not a drug.

The young man, Derrick, above, is referring to what appears to be a superior product using a slightly different deuterium compound which was later developed by a company named Global Health Trax. Their product is called “Oxygen Elements Plus" (formerly called Hydroxygen Plus). He decided to check the oxygen content of his own blood, figuring no harm would be done! The reading was 94, in the normal range for a healthy young man (readings are lower with certain illnesses). He then put seven drops of Oxygen Elements Plus in a glass of water and drank it. He waited for 20 minutes and did the test on himself again. This second time the reading jumped to 99, near perfect! He is really excited about that because that was the first time he has seen hard, personal evidence of what the product does for the body.
